Gladwin County Record dated 02-14/1979 Column - 6 Page - 2
Mrs. Elsie M. Brown, 91, of 106 Ross St., Beaverton, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 
in the Maccabee Gardens Nursing Home in Saginaw, following a long illness. 
Born in Kawkawlin on October 8, 1887, she had spent most of her life in 
Gladwin County. The former Elsie Bellinger, she was married to A.T. Brown Jr. 
on August 10, 1913, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1959.
   Surviving are one son, Francis of Saginaw; 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard (Viola) 
Fellows of Grosse Pointe Farms and Mrs. Ed (Vesta) Haddas of Arizona; 12 
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at 8 p.m. 
from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Roger Browne officiated 
and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
