Anne J. Browne, 60, of 4699 Dundas Rd., Beaverton, died Saturday, Sept. 28, in 
the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Saginaw July 12, 
1925, she came to Gladwin County in 1961. The former Anne Anderson, she was 
married to Robert Browne Sept. 29, 1945, in Saginaw. 
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 sons, Robert Jr. of Montrose, 
Dennis of Bay City and John of Traverse City; 2 daughters, Cheryl Eberhart of 
Beaverton and Mrs. Jeffrey (Kimberly) Pribbernow of Beaverton: her mother, 
Mrs. Anna Wittenmyer of Saginaw; 2 brothers, Robert of San Diego, Calif. and 
John of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ethel Muehlenbeck of Houghton Lake and Mrs. 
Ardith Gilles of AuGres; and 12 grandchildren. 
   Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
