ETHEL "SISTY" MARIE BRUBAKER

   Ethel Marie Brubaker, 61, of Beaverton, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1997 at 
MidMichigan Regional Medical Center-Midland after a short illness. Born April 
26, 1945 in Midland, she resided in Beaverton since 1952. The former Ethel 
Miller married Steve Brubaker Sr. on Aug. 22, 1952 in Gladwin. She was a 
homemaker in her own home.
   Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Steve and wife Jodi of 
Beaverton and Rick of Three Rivers; three daughters, Susan and husband Rick 
Stone of Gladwin, Lori and husband Rod Grove of Beaverton, and Teri of 
Gladwin; two brothers, Robert Miller of Auburn and Carl Miller of Midland; two 
sisters, Alta Bindschatel of Frederick and Ruth Marble of Algenac; and seven 
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, four 
brothers and two sisters.
   Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Gladwin with the Rev. Father Julius A. Spleet officiating. Burial was in 
Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton. Those planning an expression of 
sympathy may wish to consider memorials to be used according to family wishes.
