Bruner, 83, of Hale died Friday, Mar. 25, in Seaway Hospital, Trenton, following a short illness. Born in Merideth Aug.13,1893, he moved to Hale 24 years ago from Gladwin. Mr. Bruner was a self employed carpenter & mason. He was married to the former Edith Easlick on Sept.10,1916 in Gladwin. She proceded him in death on Feb.6,1968. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Marie Long of Clio, Mrs. Maude Dickinson of Columbiaville, & Mrs. Marian Bourlier of Taylor; 3 sons, David of Hale, Daniel & Delbert of Gladwin; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ina Gerstenberger of Tiffin Ohio, Mrs. Jesse Hunt of Hesperia, & Mrs. Elizabeth Sprague of Harrison; 25 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren & one great great grandchild. Rites were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. Bill Engle officiated and burial was in the Butman Cemetary.
