The son of the late Fred and Anna Brushaber, he was born August 8, 1872 at Zilwaukee. In 1902 he was married to Miss Pearl Taylor who passed away in 1908. In 1912 he was married to Miss Adeline Neumann, who preceded him in death in 1953. A resident of Gladwin county for more than 63 years, he operated a large farm and dealt in live-stock and at one time operated a store in Beaverton. His survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Violet Niendorg of Saginaw; five sons, Charles of Gladwin, Roy, John J., Richard and Lloyd, all of Beaverton; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; four brothers, Fred and William of Beaverton, Charles of Ann Arbor and Henry of Saginaw; and one sister, Mrs. Tena Berger, of Saginaw. One sons, Warren, preceded him in death several years ago. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from Dale Methodist church with the pastor, Rev. Larry Grubaugh, officiating. Interment was made in the Dale cemetery.
