SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. MINNIE BRUSHABER

   Mrs. Melinda Mae (Minnie) Brushaber, 71, took her own life at her home in 
Beaverton on Tuesday, July 2. A resident of Beaverton for 13 years and Gladwin 
county for 57 years, she was born in Quebec, Canada, on July 3, 1885. The 
former Miss Melinda Mae Hawley was married to Fred Brushaber in Wolverine in 
1904.
   Surviving are her husband Fred; one son, Fred Jr., of Gladwin; five 
daughters, Mrs. Anna Colbeck, Mrs. Ida Snyder, and Miss Lynn of Saginaw, Mrs. 
Donna Reinberg of Midland, and Mrs. Lola Jacobi of Sanford; 17 grandchildren, 
12 great grandchildren and one brother, Edgar Wright of Flint.
   Funeral services were held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in 
Beaverton with the Rev. Verne Summers officiating. Burial was in the Dale 
cemetery.
