He was riding alone according to Sheriff Arthur Kelly. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the Dale Methodist church, with the Rev. J. P. Hollopeter officiating. Burial was made in the Dale cemetery. A prayer service preceded the church service at the hom of his parents. He was born in Tobacco township on October 13, 1916, and was married to Miss Anne Santa on January 19, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W. Post. At the time of his death he was employed at Dow Chemical Company in Midland and lived on a farm in Tobacco township. Surviving are his wife, Anne; three children, Barbara Jean 13, Betty Lou 4 and Tommy Warren 8; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brushaber, of Tobacco township; five brothers, Charles of Gladwin, Lloyd, Ray, John Jr. and Richard, all of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Violet Niendorf, of Saginaw.
