Alan C. Bryant, 55, of Beaverton died April 30, 2002 at MidMichigan Medical 
Center in Midland. He was born July 1, 1946 to Patten and Thelma (Gorha) 
Bryant in Rochester, Michigan. He was a truck driver employed at Meadowbrook 
Trucking in Rochester. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1995, having moved 
here from New Hudson, Michigan. He attended Blue Lake Christian Church in Port 
Huron.
   He is survived by his wife, Jill (Jackson) Bryant of Beaverton; his son, 
Dominick Sheppard of South Carolina; three daughters, Candide Jackson of 
Gladwin, Tarra (Terry) Rodabaugh of Beaverton and Courtney Jackson of Midland; 
two grandchildren, Savanna Rodabaugh and Keyaarh Burkeen; his parents Patten 
and Thelma Bryant of Beaverton; five brothers, Darrell Bryant of Beaverton, 
Vernon Bryant of Cheboygan, Gregory Bryant of Bryon, Dale Sattler of Walled 
Lake and Bob Bryant of Florida; three sisters, Donna Griffin of Arizona, Diane 
Hampton of Holly, and Doris Johnson of Troy; and two aunts, Nancy Nichols and 
Belle Barber.
   He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. The funeral services 
was held May 7, 2002 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton, with Nancy Nichols and 
Belle Barber officiating.
