Bryant, age 95, of Beaverton, Michigan died April 1, 2003 at home following a long illness. He was born Oct. 5, 1907, the son of George and Helen (Grant), in Whitley County, Kentucky. He lived in Gladwin County since 1976, having previously resided in Birmingham, Michigan. Patton was a television repairman, working for Bryant T.V. in Rochester, Michigan. He belonged to Albright Shores Eagles. On Dec. 1942 he married Thelma Gocha at Troy. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Bryant of Beaverton; sons Robert (Rebecca) Bryant of Florida, Vernon (Gail) Bryant of Cheboygan, Darrell (Emily) Bryant of Beaverton, Gregory Bryant of Byron, and Jerome (Ila) Sattler of Walled Lake; daughters Doris Johnson of Clawson, Donna (James) Griffing of Arizona, and Diane (Donald) Hampton of Fenton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters Martha Barber, Nancy Nichols, both of Port Huron, and Flossie Duley of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons Harrison, Allan and Wayne Bryant and Frank Sattler; daughters Beverly Frederick; brothers, Grant, Dillard and Liberty Bryant; and sisters, Doshia Priest and Florence. Funeral services were held Friday, April 4, 003 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin, Rev. Martha Barber and Ron Bryant officiating. Burial took place at Billings Township Cemetery in Beaverton.
