Margaret L. Buben, 70, of 1029 McKimmy Dr., Beaverton, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 
in the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Birch Run on 
September 16, 1912, she came to Gladwin County in 1971, from Flint. She was a 
member of the Dale United Methodist Church, the Beaverton Senior Citizens 
Club, Order of Eastern Star 138, Flint and the Suburbanite Home Extension Club 
in Beaverton. The former Margaret Rottiers, she was married to Mike Buben 
December 29, 1934, in Angola, Ind. He preceded her in death January 2, 1978.
   Surviving are one son, Kenneth of Flint; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Janice) 
Brown of Algonquin, Ill.; one brother, Walter of Mio; 7 grandchildren and one 
great grandchild. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Dale United 
Methodist Church. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
