Mike Buben, 67, of 1029 McKimmy Dr., Beaverton, died suddenly Monday, Jan. 2, 
at his home. Born in Lorain, Ohio, on October 18, 1910, he moved to Gladwin 
County seven years ago from Flint. Mr. Buben was a retired electrician for 
Buick Motors. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 23 in Flint, the Shrine 
Lodge in Saginaw, and was a 32nd degree Mason. He and the former Margaret 
Rotties were married on December 29, 1934, in Angola, Ind.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Janice) 
Brown of Algonquin, Ill.; one son, Kenneth of Flint; 6 brothers, John of 
Garden City, George of Detroit, Frank of Flint, Peter of Tucson, Ariz., Joseph 
of Ohio and Paul of Grand Rapids; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Livac of Rutland, Vt., 
Mrs. Nancy Wilkinson of Grand Ledge and Mrs. Susan Bostwick of Flint.
   Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Bates officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery.
