Mrs. Gertrude A. Buchan, 89, of Epouofette, died Monday, April 26, at Helen 
Joy Hospital, Newberry, following a brief illness. She was born in Beaverton 
December 27, 1881, and was a member of the Beaverton Presbyterian Church and a 
life member of the Beaverton Order of Eastern Star. She had moved to Epoufette 
seven years ago. Two sons, Frank Bigelow of Epoufette, and Earl Bigelow of 
Stanton; six grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and two great great 
grandchildren are survivors.
   Services will be held Thursday, April 29, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral 
Home in Beaverton. The Rev. Roger Browne will officiate and burial will be in 
the Beaverton Cemetery.
