BUDGE THURSDAY Services for Mrs. E. Maude Budge, 87, of Beaverton, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Beaverton Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Budge died Monday, Nov. 14 at the King's Daughters' Home in Midland. Born in Woodbridge, Mich., Dec. 20, 1878, Mrs. Budge had been a resident of Beaverton since 1900. The former Maude Morris and Laurin J. Budge were married in Beaverton June 25, 1906. He died January 11, 1956. Mrs. Budge was a former teacher in the Beaverton schools. Always active, until recent years, in Beaverton civic affairs, Mrs. Budge was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, first president of the Beaverton Parent Teacher Association, and helped organize the Garden Club. Surviving are two daughter, Mrs. Edith Darnell of McBain, and Mrs. Lorraine McVey of Saginaw; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gordon Capling of Gladwin; and a brother, Gordon M. Morris of Beaverton. The Rev. Roger Browne will officiate at the services and interment will be in the Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hall Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Thursday.
