SUCCUMBS AFTER LONG ILLNESS

   Mrs. Ionia Mae Burnham, 63, died Wednesday at Leila Hospital in Battle 
Creek following a long illness. The former Ionia Mae Manning was born July 18, 
1897, at Ionia, Mich., and was married to Roy Burnham October 25, 1915. He 
preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1955. Mrs. Burnham lived in Meredith until 
three years ago when she moved to Battle Creek.
   Survivors include a son, Elmer, of Battle Creek her mother, Mrs. Emma 
Parkinson, of Battle Creek, and Gerald Manning, of Muskegon; two sisters, 
Orpha Moore, of Ceresca and Mrs. Fern Wright of Battle Creek; and four 
grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. 
The Rev. Carl Briggs officiated and burial was in Beaverton Cemetery.
