DIES SUDDENLY AT MEREDITH HOME

   Funeral services were held Tuesday for Roy Burnham, 62, who passed away 
suddenly December 23 at his home at Meredith. He was employed by the Welded 
Construction Company in Franklin Township. He was a member of the Gladwin 
County Sportsmen's Club and Skeels Farm Bureau. Mr. Burnham was born Feb. 2, 
1893, at Beaverton. He married Ionia Manning, Oct. 25, 1915 at Battle Creek. 
His previous residence was at Vermontville, but he had lived in Gladwin County 
for the past four years.
   Surviving are his wife; one son, Elmer H. of Ceresco; one granddaughter, 
Stephanie, who lives with her grandparents; four grandchildren two great 
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Kerbs of Augusta, Maine, and Mrs. 
Margaret Joslyn of Seattle, Wash. 
   Services were held at the Skeels Baptist Church at 1 o'clock with the Rev. 
Carl Briggs officiating. Burial was in the Beaverton cemetery.
