Gladwin County Record dated 12-31/1975 Column - 5 Page - 2
Mrs. Allie Burr, 94, of Beaverton, died Saturday, Dec. 27, following a long 
illness. Born in Isabella County on October 15, 1881, she had lived in Gladwin 
County 51 years. She was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church. 
She was married to George Burr about 1900 and he preceded her in death on July 
1, 1949. 
   Surviving are one son, Ivan of Beaverton; two daughters, Mrs. William 
(Berniece) Mercer and Mrs. Clare (Margaret) Yager of Beaverton; 14 
grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Rites 
were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton United Methodist 
Church. The Rev. Vernon Wyllys officiated and burial was in the Beaverton 
Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
