ELOIDA BURR Mrs. Eloida M. Burr, 62, well known Beaverton resident and businesswoman, died Sunday, Aug. 9, in the Town and Country Nursing Home in Midland after an illness of four months. Born in Rosebush on Dec. 19, 1907, she had lived in Gladwin County 46 years. The former Eloida Graham, she was married to Lester Burr on Dec. 23, 1923, in Rosebush. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1968. Mrs. Burr and her husband operated Burr's Appliance Store in Beaverton for many years. She was a member of the Beaverton First United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Betty McDonald, of Hillsdale; two sisters, Mrs. Seth Carrier, of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Maxine Yaeter, of Rosebush; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Sailor officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
