BURRIS---James H. Burris died at his home in Flint, April 23, 1917, aged 52 
year. He was born Nov. 28, 1864, in Harden county, Ohio, coming to Beaverton 
in 1892 interested in building and the hoop manufacturing business. In 1895 he 
was married to Miss Almeda Walters and they made their home in Beaverton until 
about eight years ago when they moved to Flint, where he lived until his 
death. Burial took place in the Beaverton cemetery.
