MRS. MARGARET BURT RITES SUNDAY

   Mrs. Margaret Estes Burt, 75, died on Wednesday, December 5, after an 
illness of five years. Funeral services were held on Sunday, at 2:30 p.m. at 
the Beaverton Latter Day Saints church, with burial in the Dale cemetery. 
Elders Sam Pendleton and Ernest Burt, of Onaway officiated. Margaret Estes was 
born in Shiawassee county on April 11, 1870. She was married to Mr. Burt at 
Langsburg, Michigan, in June, 1889, who preceded her in death in September, 
1940. They made their home in Beaverton for many years.
   Surviving are four sons, Ernest M. Burt, of Onaway, Thomas Burt of Spring 
Lake, George E. Burt, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Floyd Burt, of Beaverton; two 
daughters, Mrs. Leah Crich, of Ferndale, Mrs. Florence Fauver, of Ft. Wayne, 
Indiana; three brothers, Andrew and Henry Estes, of Perry, Burt Estes, of 
Ferndale; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Harris, of Perry, Mrs. Jane Carr, of 
Lansing, Mrs. Adeline Cornell, of Flint; 12 grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
