Mrs Lois C. Calhoon, 62, of 220 E. Brown St., Beaverton, died Friday, April 
29, in the Clare Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Beaverton on 
June 17, 1920, she had spent her lifetime there. The former Lois Killian, she 
was married to Maynard Calhoon on June 19, 1941, in Charlotte. He preceded her 
in death November 26, 1976.
   Surviving are 2 sons, Hugh and Rick of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. 
Jeffrey (Tena) Mesh of Beaverton; one brother, Arthur of Beaverton and 6 
grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral 
Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Aeron Davies officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery.
