CARNAHAN Mrs. Ethel "Irene" Carnahan, 35, died at her home in Grout Township on Christmas Day. Funeral services will be held Friday, at the Hall Funeral Home at 2p.m. following a prayer service at the home, at 1:15 p.m. Elder Floyd Burt, of the Beaverton Latterday Saints Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetary. Ethel "Irene" Whitman, daughter of Daniel C. and Mary "Louise" Whitman was born on October 1, 1910 in Grout Township. She was married to Ernest E. Carnahan December 24, 1929 in Gladwin. Surviving are her parents, her husband, and three children, Daniel N.Dale Lavern & Fern Lucille, all at home.Two brothers; Charles L. Whitman of Midland & Forrest D. Whitman of Coleman. Two sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Hale of Gladwin & Mabel Lucille of Grout Township. Two sisters and six brothers proceded her in death. Additional Comments: This is my mother(Mabel Lucille -Bruner's oldest sister. My mom is the youngest. Irene was born with a bad heart.
