ILLNESS TAKES KORAH CLINGAN

   Korah I. Clingan, 67, of Buckeye Township, died February 19, after and 
illness of several months. Mr. Clingan, born August 17, 1892 in Covington, 
Ohio, married Miss Mary Wilkerson in 1901. He was a retired industrial worker 
and had resided in Gladwin County for 40 years.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Clingan; four sons, Israel, of 
Goldbar, Wash., Bert, Walter, and James, of Beaverton; two daughters, Mrs. 
Gladys Freeman and Mrs. Miriam Brown, of Beaverto; 20 grandchildren, and four 
great grandchildren; a sister, Miss Lucille Clingan, of Lilly Dale, N.Y.
   Funeral services were held Monday at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. 
The Rev. Arthur Whisler and the Rev. Carl Hilbert officiated and burial was in 
Dale Cemetery.
