Gladwin County Record dated 11-28/1979 Column - 5 Page - 2
Mrs. Mary M. Clingan, 86, of Beaverton, died Saturday, Nov. 24, in the Midland 
Hospital Center, after an illness of six months. Born in Clayton, Ohio, on May 
8, 1893, she came to Gladwin County in 1932. She was married to Korah I. 
Clingan in 1908. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1960. 
   Surviving are 3 sons, Israel of Cle Elum, Wash., Walter and James of 
Beaverton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Freeman and Mrs. Eldon (Marion) 
Brown of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Neff of Harrison; 22 
grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. A 
daughter, Mrs. Etoil Randall and 2 sons, Bert and Ray, also preceded her in 
death.
   Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Henry List officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
