Alice M. Cobb, 61, of Baldwin and formerly of Beaverton, died suddenly 
Wednesday, April 8, 1998 at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids. 
Born Feb. 25, 1937 in Beaverton, she was a homemaker. She lived in Baldwin 
since 1997 and previously lived in Beaverton. 
   Surviving are three daughters, Marge Wendt of Baldwin, Bonnie and husband 
Ken Nichols of Hope, and Janice Wendt of Coleman; three sons, Rick and wife 
Vonda Wendt, and Gary Wendt, all of Coleman, and Claude Childress of Freeland; 
four brothers, Lawrence, Frank and Neal Priest of Gladwin; four sisters, Vera 
Jean Zimmerman of Durango, Colo., Carol Ann Pratt of Gladwin, Linda Clark of 
Lake, and Lucille Slingerland of Brooklyn; and seven grandchildren.
   Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel with Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Burial was in Beaverton Cemetery.
