Cogley, 57, of 1366 Denton Creek, All-Bright Shores, died Monday, Dec. 8, in the Saginaw Veterans Hospital after a long illness. Born in Detroit Sept. 2, 1929, he moved to Gladwin County in 1969 from Hazel Park. Mr. Cogley was a driver for T. Pierce Trucking in Madison Heights. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Albright Shores Eagles Club 3655, the Gladwin County DAV 77 and the 21 CB Club. Mr. Cogley was married to the former Judith Wagner Feb. 14, 1959, in Livonia. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Thomas of Gladwin; one daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Dawn) Taylor IV of Beaverton; and 2 grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Anne's Catholic Church Edenville. The Rev. Father Joseph Schabel will officiate and burial will be in the Billings Township Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and an Eagles Memorial Service Wednesday evening also. Graveside services will be held by the Gladwin County VFW 7303. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel.
