RITES HELD FOR NELLIE COLBECK

   Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home for 
Mrs. Nellie E. Colbeck, 69, of Tobacco Township, who died Friday after an 
illness of six weeks. The Rev. Gordon Showers officiated and burial was in the 
Dale Cemetery. Born on February 18, 1892, in Lyons, Ohio, the former Nellie E. 
Noble was married to Milford Colbeck on July 17, 1911, in Midland. They came 
to Gladwin County in 1914 from Flint.
   Survivors include her husband Milford of Beavertn; a son Kenneth, of 
Saginaw; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Fraser, of Pontiac; two brothers, Carl Noble, 
of Saginaw and Samuel Noble, of Lansing; and one grandson; James, of Saginaw.
