THURSDAY RITES FOR HAROLD COLE

   Harold E. Cole, 65, died at the home of his daughter in Garden City, 
Monday. He was born in Wauseon, Ohio, August 13, 1890 but had lived in Gladwin 
County for the last 40 years, operating a shoe shop in Beaverton. Previous to 
coming to Gladwin county he lived at Coldwater. Mr. Cole married the former 
Dora Assels, Nov. 14, 1940 in Beaverton.
   He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Lennon of Detroit, 
Mrs. Virginia Chadwick of Dallas, Texas, and Phyllis Waltz of Garden City; and 
12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the R.L.D.S. 
Church in Beaverton with the Elder Harold Keeley officiating and under the 
auspices of the Beaverton Masonic Lodge. Burial will be in the Beaverton 
cemetery.
