Colosky, 60, of 3847 W. Calhoun Rd., Beaverton, died Saturday, April 18, in the Midland Hospital Center after a long illness. Born in Jackson Sept. 21, 1926, she came to Gladwin County in 1965 from Flint. She was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Lyle Ladies Aid. The former Evelyn Hull, she was married to James Cohoon in 1945, in Flint. He died April 6, 1958. She then married Leo Colosky May 27, 1961, in Beaverton. Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. L. Joseph (Connie) Phillips of Clare, Mrs. Thomas (Gay) Watts of Durand and Mrs. Bruce (Kerry) Lang of Beaverton; 5 brothers, John of Lansing, Louis and William of Flint, Harry of New Mexico and George of Jackson; 3 sisters, Mrs. Sarah Snellenberger of Flint, Mrs. Esther Eichorst of Morton, Ill. and Mrs. Harriet Dodd of Palmetto, Fla.; and 5 grandchildren. A sister, Rachael McVay, preceded her in death. Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Larner officiating. The body was cremated and memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
