Gladwin County Record dated 10-03/1973 Column - 4 Page - 2
Mrs. Laura A. Conway, 80, of Flint, died in a convalescent center there 
Saturday, September 29. The former Laura Cann was born in Gladwin County 
February 11, 1893.
   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Connie Ambrose of Flint; 3 brothers, Percy 
Cann of Gladwin, William Cann of Taylor, and Everett Cann of Detroit; 2 
sisters, Mrs. Iva Hoover of Mecosta and Mrs. Jessie Simpson of Midland; and a 
granddaughter.
   Services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Reigle Funeral Home, Flint, and 
burial was in Beaverton Cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
