ALLEN CORNELL DIES SUDDENLY

   Rites were held Monday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Nazerene 
Church for Allen S. Cornell, 51, of Beaverton, who died suddenly at his home 
Friday morning. The Revs. F. E. Voller and Ray Huffman officiated and burial 
was in the Beaverton Cemetery. Born in McClure, Ohio on Aug. 14, 1914, he came 
to Gladwin County 11 years ago. He was employed as a truck driver for 
Beaverton Transit-Mix, Inc. Mr. Cornell was married to the former Bonnie 
Thayer on Jan. 30, 1953, in Boon, Mich.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank 
Cornell, of Beaverton; two brothers, James and William, both of Beaverton; and 
six sisters, Mrs. Hazel White, Mrs. Katherine Stillwagon, Mrs. Hilda Powell, 
and Mrs. Viola Folts, all of Beaverton, Mrs. Helen Yager, of Bay City and Mrs. 
June Buck, of Farmington. One sister, Mary, preceded him in death.
