ILLNESS FATAL TO A. B. CORNELL

   Archie B. Cornell, 64, passed away this morning at his home in Grout 
township. He had been in ill health for about a year but became seriously ill 
two days ago. Mr. Cornell was born in McClure, Ohio, on March 18, 1890, and 
was married there to Miss Belva Yost. They moved to Gladwin county in 1917. He 
was a farmer and was associated with the Cornell Construction Company of 
Beaverton.
   Surviving are his wife, Belva; two sons, Herbert and Harold, both of 
Beaverton; three daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Wirt of Mesa, Arizona, Mrs. Nettie 
Cedor of Detroit, Mrs. Bertha Kory of Beaverton: two brothers, Charles and 
Frank Cornell, both of Beaverton; two sisters, Blanche Cornell of Beaverton 
and Mrs. Myrtle Tenley of Flint; also 12 grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the 
Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Lawrence Grubaugh of the Beaverton Methodist 
church will officiate and burial will be made in the Beaverton cemetery.
