FORMER BEAVERTON MAN DIES

   William Crawford 80, died suddenly at his home in Gladstone on Monday, Dec. 
22. He had been a resident of Beaverton Township for 40 years before moving to 
Gladstone about a year ago. He was a life member of the Beaverton Masonic 
Lodge. The Hall Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements which have

SERVICES HELD FOR BEAVERTON MAN

   William Crawford, 80, died suddenly at his home in Gladstone on Monday, 
Dec. 22. He was born on May 7, 1878, in Ann Arbor and was married to the 
former Hattie B. Mutton in 1901 in Beaverton. She preceded him in death on 
February 2, 1955. A retired farmer, Mr. Crawford moved to Gladstone about a 
year ago from Beaverton where he had lived for 68 years. He was a life member 
of the Beaverton Masonic Lodge. Mr. Crawford is survived by several nieces and 
nephews. Funeral services were held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral 
Home. Elder Harold Keeley officiated and burial was in Dale Cemetery.
