Jennie Mae Crawford, 97, of 3139 Long Rd., Beaverton, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, in 
the Gladwin Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Canada on October 
5, 1893, she came to Gladwin County in 1895. Mrs. Crawford was a member of the 
Royal Neighbors of American. The former Jennie Graham, she was married to 
George Crawford on December 30, 1902, in Midland. He preceded her in death on 
November 28, 1956.
   Surviving are 3 sons, Harold of Beaverton, Floyd of Sanford and Bill of 
Gladwin; 3 daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Zimmer of Midland, Mrs. Laurin (Lola) 
King of Beaverton and Mrs. James (Muriel) Henry of Midland; 16 grandchildren 
and 43 great grandchildren.
   Services were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Arthur Whisler officiated and burial was in the Beaverton 
Cemetery.
