Gladwin County Record dated 12-17/1980 Column - 4 Page - 2
Mrs. Lillian M. Grant Crawford, 79, of 4080 Lakeshore Dr., Beaverton, died 
Monday, Dec. 8, in the Gladwin Area Hospital. The former Lillian O'Keefe, she 
was born in Standish on August 20, 1901. She was married to Frank Grant in 
1919 and he died in 1955. Mrs. Grant then married Merle H. Crawford on January 
21, 1962. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1976.
   Surviving are one step-son, Howard Crawford of Midland; 3 step-daughters, 
Beulah Grant of Beaverton, Mrs. Dorothy Zabel and Mrs. Naomi Neuman of Bay 
City; one brother, Orville of Midland; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Bulah Edgerton of 
Warren, Mrs. Ella Mae Rogers of Fosteria and Mrs. Evelyne Borys of Hamtramack.
   Services were held Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Brigid's Church in Midland. 
The Rev. Father Richard Lubert officiated and burial was in the Billings 
Township Cemetery. A wake service was held in the Billings at 8 p.m. from the 
Ware-Smith Funeral Home, Midland.
