Gladwin County Record
Daniel L. Crockett, 48, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away suddenly on June 
29, 2003 at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gladwin. He was born Aug. 17, 1954 to 
Homer and Margaret Crockett in Midland. 

A lifetime resident of Gladwin County, Daniel worked as a machine operator for 
Huhtamaki Plastics in Coleman. He married Denise (Fischer) Crockett on Oct. 
11, 1975 in Gladwin. 

Daniel is survived by his wife, Denise of Beaverton; daughter and son-in-law 
Melissa and Justin Minkin of Beaverton; daughter Tammi Crockett of Columbus, 
Ohio; mother Margaret Blood of Bay City, Michigan; step-mother Jean Crockett 
of Midland, Michigan; mother-in-law Bev Fischer of Beaverton, Michigan; sister 
Dianne and Barry Woodruff of Beaverton; brothers Jeff Crockett of Phoenix, 
Arizona and Bill and Karen Blood of Bay City; and several nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father Bill Blood, and father-
in-law Tom Fischer. 

Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, July 2) at 11 a.m. at Hall 
Funeral Home in Beaverton with Larry Snyder officiating. Burial will take 
place at Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton. Visitation was held 
Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton.
