Gladwin County Record
Roger A. Crockett, 77, of Beaverton, died July 8, 2002 at home in Beaverton 
following a long illness. Crockett was a lifelong resident of Beaverton, born 
January 26, 1925 to Phillip and Bertha (Rise) Crockett. He was a lifelong 
farmer and a member of the Gladwin Eagles Aerie 3292 and the Beaverton Church 
of the Nazarene. He married Iva Estee in Beaverton May 12, 1950. 
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Gwenda Crockett of Harrison and 
Bonnie (Ronald) Friday of Beaverton; a son, Roger C. (Pamela) Crockett of 
Beaverton); six grandchildren, Allen, Timothy, Ronda and Wendi Friday and 
Jason and Jamie Crockett; a great grandson, Brian Sprague; and a brother, 
Floyd Crockett of Midland. He was preceded in death by his parents, five 
brothers and two sisters. 
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Hall 
Funeral Home in Beaverton with the Rev. Mark H. Moore officiating. He will be 
buried in the Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton. The family will 
receive visitors Wednesday from noon until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. A 
special Gladwin Eagles Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m.
