SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. FRANK CROSS

   Mrs. Frank Cross, 78, died at her home in Beaverton on Monday morning, 
after a long illness. Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Wednesday, 
at 2 o'clock at the Beaverton Church of the Nazerene, with the Rev. Perry 
Arnold and the Rev. George Bugbee officiating. Burial will be in the Dale 
cemetery.
   Cora L. Powelson was born in Richfield township, Genesee county on July 25, 
1868, and has been a resident of this vicinity for many years. Surviving are 
her husband, Frank Cross; two sons by a previous marriage, Emery Van Schaick, 
of Flint and Horace Van Schaick, of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Martha Russell 
of Davidson; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
