Cruickshank, 26, died on Tuesday morning at his home in Beaverton of pneumonia, after an illness of only several days. Funeral services will be hled on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Beaverton Latter Day Saints in Christ church, with Elder Elmer Kintner officiating. The services will be under the auspices of the Beaverton Post of the American Legion, and burial will be in the Beaverton cemetery. Mr. Cruickshank was born in Oshawa, Canada, on February 26, 1920 and came with his parents to live in Gladwin for a short time and then moved to Beaverton 20 years ago. On October 29, 1939 he was married to Edna Florence Seymour, in Beaverton. Employed at the time of his death at the Dow Co., Midland he was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas in the Pacific area. Surviving are his wife, Edna; three children, Albert, Mona, and Ruth Ann, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cruickshank, of Beaverton; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Lange, of Oshawa, Canada, Mrs. Beatrice Purdy, of Toronto, Canada, Mrs. Doris Dundas, of Midland, Mrs. Helen Levely, of Hope; one brother, Frank Cruickshank, of Gladwin.
