He came from Ohio with his parents 30 years ago and settled on a farm at Pine Stump, in Tobacco township when it was quite wild. He and his brother Frank owned their farms together, staying with and taking care of their aged mother. Zelora was a man of high morals; was honest and upright in all his dealings, and was liked by all who knew him. His pleasant smile will be missed in the community where he lived. He leaves to mourn an aged mother, one sister, Mrs. Al Bird of Pine Stump, and two brothers, Frank at home and Elmer of Midland; his father, two sisters and one brother having gone before. The body was laid to rest in the family lot at Dale by the side of his father, March 21. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. C. Mitts of Beaverton.
