Born March 7, 1927, she was a member of the Grace bible Church of Beaverton and avidly enjoyed teaching bible school. Surviving are her 6 sons and 3 daughters, Glenn and Madonna Newcomb of Sanford, Ruthann and Red Muchison of Tennessee, Carol and Jim Fenske of Midland, Tony and Connie Newcomb of Sanford, Don and Charlotte Newcomb of Hope, John and Anna Newcomb of Midland, Darlene and Lee Ranck of Coleman, Dave and Cheryl Newcomb of Sanford, Bobby and Stacey Dailey of New Mexico; 3 brothers, Dick Swanton of Beaverton, Joe Swanton of Beaverton, and L. J. Swanton of Ringling, Mont.; 3 sisters, Maxine Daniels of Coleman, Mary Mason of Beaverton, and Marie Sersaw of Oil City; 32 grandchildren; and 20 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Allen Newcomb. Rites were held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the O'Laughlin Funeral Home Inc., Coleman.
