Dailey, 67, of Beaverton, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Saginaw following a long illness. Florence was born December 17, 1932 to Edward and Helen Brinkey in Hazel Park, Michigan. She had lived in Gladwin County since 1974 and lived previously in Troy, Michigan. She married Edward Dailey Aug. 20, 1953 in Rochester. She spent her life as a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Edward of Beaverton; four sons, Gary and wife, Linda Dailey of Madison Heights, Gerald Dailey of Gladwin, James and wife, Lois Dailey of Coleman, and Michael and wife Andrea Dailey of Farwell; a daughter, Ginny and husband, Mark of Beaverton; three brothers, Clarence Brinkey of Utica, James Brinkey of Drayton Plains and William Brinkey of Miami, Fla.; one sister, Eleanor Werth of Caro; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and her parents. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 9 at the Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton with Paul Kile and Donn Pendelton officiating. She was buried in Arbutus Cemetery in Beaverton. Memorial contributions will be used according to the wishes of the family.
