Ernest E. Damon, 84, 1302 Howard, Beaverton, died Feb. 16, 1984, at the 
Gladwin Area Hospital after a long illness.

He was born June 30, 1899, in New Hampshire and was a butcher in the Detroit 
area until his retirement in 1972. He married Nora Cutter Aug. 15, 1935, in 
Stoneham, Mass., and moved to Gladwin in 1972.

Besides his wife he leaves sons Kenneth Damon of Sterling Heights and Lawrence 
Damon of Bedford, N.H.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A 
daughter, Joyce Skurya, died April 28, 1973.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. today at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel in 
Beaverton, with Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Burial was in the Arbutus 
Cemetery.
