Gladwin County Record    1993
John Damzyn,63, of Beaverton, died Thursday, May 20,1993 in the Mid Michigan 
Regional Medical Center, Clare, after a long illness. Born in Saginaw, June 
19,1929, he had moved to Gladwin County in 1968 from Saginaw. Mr. Damzyn was a 
draftsman and worked all over the country until retiring in 1987. He was a 
vetran of WWII. Mr. Damzyn and the former Ardith Grant were married May 3,1952 
in Saginaw. She proceded him in death Jan. 3, 1987. Surviving are 2 sons, 
Daniel of Beaverton and David of Gladwin; 2 daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Diana) 
Searson of Birch Run and Mrs. Michael (Debrs) Sullivan of Burbank Calif; 3 
brothers, Steve  and Ted of Saginaw and Bill of Bridgeport.; 2 sisters, Katie 
Temple of Phoenix Ariz. and Alice Housner of Montezuma Ariz.; and 4 
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. A memorial 
service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall 
Funeral Home.

Cremation and burial in Grout Township Cemetary in Gladwin.
