Born Feb. 8, 1915 in Royal Oak, he was the son of William and Pearl Nolar Dapprich. Hap married Mary Jane Tanks, Oct. 28, 1944 in Angola, Ind. They lived in the Gladwin area for the past 48 years. He worked as a welder for Local 85 and retired in 1976. Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Dawn and husband Duane Govitz of Beaverton, Sherry Ann and husband Erv Clore of Gladwin, and Sandra Elsie of Tennessee; two brothers, Wilbur Dapprich of Monroe and Richard Dapprich of Ypsilanti; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Kenneth. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Sisson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Beaverton Cemetery.
