Ethel M. Davis, 85, of 110 Knox St., Beaverton, died suddenly Saturday, Nov. 
14, 1992, in the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center, Midland. Born in 
Cheboygan, April 18, 1907, she came to Gladwin County in 1938, from Flint. She 
was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Nazerene. The former Ethel Crowl, 
she was married to Stanley Davis on Aug. 21, 1926, in Beaverton. He preceded 
her in death on Jan. 20, 1966.
   Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Shirley) Covell of Coleman and Mrs. 
Gerald (Marion) Ware of Midland; one brother, Harold Davis of Wakarusa, Ind.; 
2 sisters, Mrs. Eunice Randle of Beaverton and Mrs. Alice Romatz of Westland; 
7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She 
was preceded in death by 3 brothers. 
   Services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Mark Moore officiated and burial was in the Beaverton 
Cemetery.
