STANLEY A. DAVIS BURIES SATURDAY

   Stanley A. Davis, 62, of Beaverton, died Thursday in the Midland Hospital 
following an illness of nine months. Services were held from the Hall Funeral 
Home Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. F. E. Voller officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born in Isabella County on Jan. 1, 1904. He 
was a carpenter and had lived in Gladwin County for 28 years. He was married 
to the former Ethel Crowl on August 21, 1926, in Beaverton.
   Mr. Davis is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Covell, of 
Wayne and Mrs. Marion Ware, of Midland; two brothers, Kenneth, of Beaverton 
and George, of Florida; one sister, Mrs. Alice Whitman, of Beaverton; seven 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
