Lora J. Dean, 61, of Beaverton, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997 at MidMichigan 
Regional Medical Center-Midland after a short illness. Born Nov. 4, 1935 in 
Gladwin, she lived here all her life and was a homemaker in her own home. The 
former Lora Hayward married Richard D. Dean Sr., Dec. 24, 1958 in Gladwin. He 
preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1983.
   Surviving are one daughter, Sandra J. and husband Ron Streeter of 
Beaverton; three sons, Richard Jr., Kenneth, Delbert and wife Vicky, all of 
Beaverton; two brothers, Charles Hayward of Gladwin and Stanley Hayward of 
Beaverton; five sisters, Donna Cook and JoAnn McCann of Gladwin, Irene Ross of 
Beaverton, Ruth DeMott and Nancy Price of Flint; and four grandchildren. She 
was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Hayward; and twin sister, Nora 
Blaine.
   Services were held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel with the Rev. Father Julius Spleet officiating. Burial was in Beaverton 
Cemetery, Beaverton.
