DOAN

   Esther Elizabeth Doan died June 5, at the home of her brother, Thomas 
Kaake, in North Bradley, of nervous trouble and erypsiplas. She was born Dec. 
28, 1851, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kaake. She was married 
in 1871 to Jonathan Doan, and leaves five sons, four brothers and one sister 
to mourn her departure, besides nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. 
She was a kind and loving mother and will be mourned by all who knew her.
   Funeral was held at North Bradley at 10 o'clock Wednesday. Interment in 
Beaverton cemetery.
