E. Flint Doane, 73, of 510 E. Highwod Rd., Beaverton, died Tuesday, June 24, 
in the Gladwin Area Hospital after a long illness. Born in Breckenridge Oct. 
10, 1912, he had spent his life in Gladwin County. Mr. Doane was a laborer in 
construction. Mr. Doane and the former Marie Foor were married June 30, 1938, 
in Gladwin County.
  Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Kenneth of Harrison; 3 
daughters, Carol Vanderbush and Sharon Boyer of Beaverton and Beverly Roper of 
Rhodes; one sister, Mary Harden of Gladwin; 15 grandchildren and 3 great 
grandchildren.
  Services were held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. 
The Rev. Byron Hatch officiated and burial was in the Arbutus Cemetery.
