J. Richard Dundas, 56, of Beaverton, died Wednesday, Jan. 30 in Saginaw 
Veterans Hospital after an illness of two months. Born in Beaverton on March 
20, 1917, he moved back to Gladwin county from Royal Oak in 1964. He was a 
member of the Beaverton Lions Club and a salesman for the Buyers Guide. Mr. 
Dundas was married to the former Jeanne Pryor on April 13, 1963, in Key West, 
Fla. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, James of Royal Oak and 
Donald of Beaverton; two brothers, Robert of St. Clair and Bruce of Hope; one 
sister, Mrs. Maxine Kinne of Gladwin; and one grandson. Rites were held 
Saturday Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton. The Rev. 
Zina Bennett officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
